The Washington State Department of Transportation Aviation Division anticipates awarding $2 million in funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Airports can only apply for projects previously submitted through the <a href=\"https:\/\/wsdot.wa.gov\/travel\/aviation\/aviation-plans-studies\/aviation-planning\/state-capital-improvement-program\">Statewide Capital Improvement Program<\/a> (SCIP). The SCIP is an unconstrained prioritized list of projects entered by Washington&#8217;s 132 public-use airports that captures project requirements for airports to address individual airport needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, airports can fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/wsdot.wa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2023-05\/airport-aid-grant-application-2023.pdf\">online application<\/a> (PDF 3.2MB) and <a href=\"https:\/\/wsdot.wa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2021-10\/aviation-airport-aid-program-grant-application-checklist.pdf\">airport aid application checklist<\/a> (PDF 527KB). WSDOT requires <a href=\"https:\/\/wsdot.wa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2021-10\/aviation-airport-aid-program-grant-assurances.pdf\">airport aid grant assurances<\/a> (PDF 96KB) be submitted with the application package.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are due by 5 p.m. Friday, April 19. Qualifying\nprojects should be targeted for completion by June 30, 2025. Eligible projects\nmay include work beginning after June 1, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WSDOT will prioritize applications based on the SCIP project\nscores.
