Grayson\nArdies, Executive Director noted that during the Special Legislative Session in\nthe fall of 2022 the Legislature and State Leaders approved what would end up\nbeing the largest single investment of funds in the history of the industry. \u201cThere\nwas nearly $250M in total investment across two dozen different initiatives\nranging from the Ardmore Air Cargo facility to the Tulsa International Airport\nAir Traffic Control Tower, MRO Hangar facilities at Will Rogers World Airport\nto a dedicated full-immersion aviation high school program for Norman Public\nSchools,\u201d said Ardies. \u201cThese investments in aviation infrastructure, utility\ninfrastructure, and aerospace workforce development opportunities will\nspringboard the industry into the next decade.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/OK-Annual-Report-2024-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27808\" width=\"177\" height=\"233\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/OK-Annual-Report-2024-1.png 538w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/OK-Annual-Report-2024-1-228x300.png 228w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 177px) 100vw, 177px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Ardies said they are proud of the agency\u2019s accomplishments\nover the past 12 months and will continue to find new ways to make connections\nand impact within this amazing industry. \u201cThe Department goes beyond just the\nnumbers though.
