Women in Aviation International CEO Lynda Coffman is pleased\nto announce the promotion of Stephanie Kenyon to the new position of chief\noperating officer at WAI, effective immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSince joining our team as chief growth officer in 2021,\nStephanie has fostered innovation and implemented strategic initiatives that\nalign with our mission and values,\u201d Lynda said. \n\u201cStephanie\u2019s role as interim CEO for the past six months demonstrated\nher exceptional operational and analytical skills, deploying new processes and\nsystems to streamline the organization and increase efficiencies.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In her new role as COO, Stephanie will play a crucial part\nin shaping the operational landscape of WAI. \nShe will continue her strategic leadership for growing the organization,\ndesigning new and innovative programs, creating strategic partnerships, and\nenhancing revenue streams. She will also work closely with staff ensuring all\nprograms, processes, and initiatives run efficiently and operate effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A WAI member for over a dozen years, Stephanie has led the\nstrategic direction and financial growth of WAI since she joined the staff in\n2021 as chief growth officer drawing on her proven track record in the aviation\nindustry where she has held leadership positions with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical\nUniversity, AirServ International, and AOPA.
