Six flight schools and six flight instructors were\nchosen as the most excellent in their respective region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Flight Training Experience survey asked student pilots,\nnewly minted pilots, and pilots pursuing advanced ratings or taking a flight\nreview for feedback about the quality of their flight training and instruction\nexperience. The survey gave respondents the opportunity to highlight the best\nparts of their flight training and identify where flight schools and\ninstructors may want to make improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Of the regional winners, one flight school and one flight instructor will be recognized as the nation\u2019s best, announced at <a href=\"https:\/\/migration.redbirdflight.com\/\">Redbird Migration<\/a>, a flight training conference hosted March 5 and 6 at the Lone Star Flight Museum in Houston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis year we have seen something similar to past years,\u201d\nChris Moser, AOPA&#8217;s senior director of flight training education, said. \u201cThe\nemphasis was on how much the best schools and instructors made their customers\nfeel like family.
