Each grade level embraces an array of industry-grade hand\ntools and technology, coupled with an array of career inspirations. Subject\nmatter for each grade level connects directly with national standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHaving We WILL Build It Better will give us the tools to\nexpand our educational capabilities to kids in our community. The simple, yet\ndeep, approach of this curriculum allows us to expand our mission of connecting\nthe rich history of Kansas aviation with an innovative future for all\u201d, said\nBen Sauceda, President of KAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018We WILL Built It Better\u2019 programming will be used for\nSTEM\/STEAM camps throughout the summer months, as well as week breaks during\nthe school year. This program is the launching point for a dynamic shift in KAM\ntowards hands-on educational learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCareers in STEM\/STEAM will continue to be among the most\nin-demand when today&#8217;s young people enter the workforce,&#8221; said John\nO\u2019Leary, Vice President of Engineering for Airbus Americas. &#8220;Yet\nopportunities in engineering, manufacturing technology, aerospace, data centers\nand other technical careers are not traditionally introduced to younger\nstudents. Solving the challenges that face our society will require imagination\nand innovation cultivated through teamwork and rooted in solid problem-solving\nskills. The &#8216;We WILL Build It Better&#8217; kits developed by Flight Works Alabama\nare perfect tools for introducing young, impressionable minds to those\nconcepts.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2018We WILL Build It Better\u2019 is a curriculum designed by Flight Works Alabama in connection with Airbus, Amazon Web Services and Snap-on Incorporated.
