{"id":27341,"date":"2023-12-04T16:28:22","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T16:28:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=27341"},"modified":"2023-12-04T16:28:23","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T16:28:23","slug":"gama-president-ceo-testifies-before-congress-regarding-faa-reauthorization","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/national-news\/gama-president-ceo-testifies-before-congress-regarding-faa-reauthorization\/%20","title":{"rendered":"GAMA President &#038; CEO Testifies before Congress Regarding FAA Reauthorization"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On Thursday, November 30, 2023, General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA) President and CEO, Pete Bunce, testified before the U.S. House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure Subcommittee on Aviation in a hearing entitled: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/transportation.house.gov\/calendar\/eventsingle.aspx?EventID=406970\">Turbulence Ahead: Consequences of Delaying a Long-Term FAA Bill<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his testimony, Bunce conveyed the importance of Congress moving at maximum velocity operating speed to enact a long-term Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization bill which is critical to support operational and programmatic direction for FAA and facilitate the aviation sector\u2019s future path towards increasing levels of safety and innovation.
