{"id":27339,"date":"2023-12-04T16:20:23","date_gmt":"2023-12-04T16:20:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=27339"},"modified":"2023-12-04T16:20:25","modified_gmt":"2023-12-04T16:20:25","slug":"ga-stakeholders-urge-passage-of-long-term-faa-reauthorization-bill","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/national-news\/ga-stakeholders-urge-passage-of-long-term-faa-reauthorization-bill\/%20","title":{"rendered":"GA Stakeholders Urge Passage of Long-Term FAA Reauthorization Bill"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Several general aviation (GA) groups have advised Congress\nthat continued short-term extensions of authorization for the Federal Aviation Administration\n(FAA) would \u201cchallenge the certainty that industry and the FAA depend on to\nenable long-term planning and investment in many critical areas required to\nensure the safety of the NAS and America\u2019s global leadership in aviation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The agency is currently authorized through Dec. 31. In July,\nthe House of Representatives passed bipartisan reauthorization legislation for\nthe FAA through 2028.
