Blue was selected to replace the retiring Scott\nBrockman as President and CEO by the MSCAA Board of Commissioners at their\nmonthly meeting in April. Blue, who previously served as Executive Vice\nPresident of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, joined MSCAA in 2015 and\nhas more than 25 years of aviation experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Scott-Brockman-2-edit-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27320\" width=\"150\" height=\"188\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Scott-Brockman-2-edit-1.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Scott-Brockman-2-edit-1-240x300.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><figcaption><em>Scott Brockman<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>While Brockman\u2019s retirement will be effective on December\n31, 2023, he will now serve as CEO in a strategic planning capacity until that\ndate. \u201cThe President \/ CEO succession plan has been in the works for well over\na year. Chairman Keeney and I have agreed that the organization is stable and\nstrong and that it is now time that I relinquish my authority as President and\nas CEO, become a resource to the executive management team,\u201d said\nBrockman.&nbsp; \u201cI am extremely proud of how\nthis process has gone and even more proud of the strength of the team that will\ncarry on our mission.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Airport Authority is one of the largest economic\nengines in the entire region,\u201d said Michael Keeney, Chairman of the MSCAA Board\nof Commissioners. \u201cThus, this transition is something that has been planned for\nmonths in an effort to keep the airport\u2019s operations as seamless as possible as\nwe close out 2023.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of a carefully planned process, Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority (MSCAA) has announced that Terry Blue has transitioned into the role of President.
