Aircraft shipments through the third quarter of 2023, when\ncompared to the same period in 2022, saw piston airplanes increase 11.9% with\n1,135 units, turboprops increase 14.6% with 439 units, and business jets\nincrease 2% with 455 units. The value of airplane deliveries through the third\nquarter of 2023 was $14.5 billion, an increase of 2.5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Helicopter shipments increased when compared to the third quarter of 2022; piston helicopter deliveries increased 15.3% with 158 units, and turbine helicopter deliveries increased 6.3% with 469 units. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
