Six of the eight of the commercial service airports also had\nhigher passenger numbers than during this same period last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The last time that North Dakota surpassed 100,000 passenger\nboardings during the month of October was in the pre-pandemic year of 2019 when\nthe state experienced 102,240 boardings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The strong passenger numbers are a direct result of\nthe growth in additional flights and seat availability that we are beginning to\nsee throughout North Dakota.&#8221; stated Kyle Wanner, Executive Director of\nthe NDAC. &#8220;We hope to see these growth indicators continue as we expect\npassenger demand to remain strong throughout the upcoming holiday season.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>October 2023 Boarding Records:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fargo Hector International Airport achieved a new\nmonthly passenger record with 43,332 passenger boardings. The previous record\nfor the airport for month of October was set in 2019 with 39,968 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Devils Lake Airport also achieved a new monthly\npassenger record with 714 passenger boardings.
