It will be large enough for\nthe new ultra-long-range Falcon 10X, currently in development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/PR_MRO_Catarina_02-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27092\" width=\"244\" height=\"162\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/PR_MRO_Catarina_02-edit.jpg 600w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/PR_MRO_Catarina_02-edit-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 244px) 100vw, 244px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dassault Falcon Jet Catarina will be able to perform line\nmaintenance up to \u2018B\u2019 level checks for Brazilian-registered Falcons in the\nFalcon 7X and Falcon 2000 family as well as a Pre-Purchase Evaluation (PPE)\nprogram for customers considering purchasing a pre-owned Falcon. PPE operations\ninclude a thorough physical evaluation of the aircraft, systems operational\nchecks and a detailed record search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new facility will hold Repair Station certification from\nBrazil\u2019s Ag\u00c3\u00aancia Nacional de Avia\u00c3\u00a7\u00c3\u00a3o Civil (ANAC), the FAA, and EASA, as well\nas from airworthiness authorities in Argentina, Bermuda and Uruguay. It will be\nauthorized to perform line maintenance and most major inspections on the Falcon\n50, 900 and 2000 series models, as well as on the Falcon 7X and 8X.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/PR_MRO_Catarina_01-Sao-Palo-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27093\" width=\"252\" height=\"167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/PR_MRO_Catarina_01-Sao-Palo-edit.jpg 700w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/PR_MRO_Catarina_01-Sao-Palo-edit-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 252px) 100vw, 252px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to airframe inspections and service, the\nfacility will be qualified to provide engine line maintenance on the CFE-738;\nHoneywell TFE731; and Pratt &amp; Whitney Canada PW307A, PW307D and PW308C\nmodels. It will also conduct specialized non-destructive testing (NDT)\nprocedures, such as penetrant and eddy current tests. A full-service battery\nshop will be available to repair, replace or charge main and emergency\nbatteries on Falcon or other aircraft models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The location will continue to support an AOG \u2018Go Team\u2019,\ntrained to provide rapid mobile response directly to any aircraft location in\nSouth America, along with the parts and tools necessary to get a Falcon back in\nthe air flying with minimal delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short ride from Sao Paulo, Catarina Executive Airport is\nBrazil\u2019s first international airport dedicated to business aviation.
