The primary duties of this position are to guide a state\ntransportation program to advance air transportation related to Advanced Air\nMobility (AAM) and Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS). This position will be\nresponsible for executing an aggressive implementation plan in coordination\nwith other key personnel. The position will supervise staff with expertise in\nthese areas of advanced technology.&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"101\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/ResourceTekLogoHorColor-edit.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-27032\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ResourceTekLogoHorColor-edit.png 600w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/ResourceTekLogoHorColor-edit-300x51.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>AAM\ninvolves the integration of innovative technologies, including electric\nvertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and urban air mobility, to create\nefficient and sustainable transportation solutions for urban and regional\nenvironments. The manager will play a critical role in coordinating various\naspects of AAM operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the\nsuccessful implementation of AAM initiatives in the State of Georgia. UAS\nresponsibilities are limited to the Department\u2019s program for use of these\naircraft to improve internal safety, efficiency, and reduced cost to the\ndepartment due to the advancement of this technology. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Key\nResponsibilities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Operations\nManagement:<ol><li>Develop and implement operational strategies for\nthe deployment and management of eVTOL aircraft and related infrastructure in\nurban and regional settings.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to\nestablish efficient operational workflows, including aircraft maintenance,\ncharging infrastructure, airspace management, and passenger services.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li>Monitor AAM operations in real-time, identifying\nand addressing any operational issues or disruptions.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Regulatory\nCompliance:<ol><li>Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and\npolicies related to AAM and urban air mobility from aviation authorities and\ngovernment agencies.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li>Ensure that all AAM operations adhere to\nrelevant safety and regulatory standards, obtaining necessary permits and\napprovals.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Stakeholder\nEngagement:<ol><li>Build and maintain relationships with key\nstakeholders, including regulatory agencies, local governments, technology\nproviders, and community members.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li>Collaborate with stakeholders to address\nconcerns, gather feedback, and communicate the benefits of AAM to the\ncommunity.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Technology\nIntegration:<ol><li>Work closely with engineering and technology\nteams to facilitate the integration of eVTOL aircraft, avionics systems, and\nsoftware platforms for seamless operation.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li>Identify opportunities for technological\nadvancements that enhance the safety, efficiency, and user experience of AAM\nservices.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Risk\nManagement:<ol><li>Assess potential operational and safety risks\nassociated with AAM operations and develop mitigation strategies.<\/li><\/ol><ol><li>Develop emergency response plans and procedures\nto ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and the public.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Data\nAnalysis and Reporting:<ol><li>Collect and analyze operational data to measure\nthe performance of AAM services and identify areas for improvement.<\/li><\/ol><\/li><li>Prepare regular reports for management and stakeholders to track\nkey performance indicators and milestones.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application\nProcess:<\/strong><strong> <\/strong>Client is not accepting inquiries and\napplications.
