Adacel has announced a new contract award from the Federal\nAviation Administration (FAA) following a competitive bid process. Valued at\nUSD$59 million over five years, this contract will encompass a comprehensive\nrange of services connected with the existing installed network of Tower\nSimulation Systems (TSS), including the maintenance and support of the TSS\nhardware and a full-scale technical refresh for all major components within the\nTSS large and small systems and TSS Mobile Units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“As the FAA TSS software Original Equipment\nManufacturer (OEM), Adacel brings unique knowledge and unparalleled experience\nwith these systems, which will ensure minimal disruptions to training\nthroughout the program’s duration. The scope of the TSS program support includes a\ncomprehensive Help Desk support staffed by highly skilled technical and Air\nTraffic Control Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), access to Adacel\u2019s Training\nSystem Support Center (TSSC), the deployment of on-site Field Service\nRepresentatives\/Technicians (FSRs\/FSTs), and the use of Adacel’s Web-Based\nIntegrated Data Environment (WIDE) data repository.
