<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nCirrus Aircraft has provided significant investment to\ntransform the 189,000-square-foot building on 39 acres into a state-of-the-art\nInnovation Center. Innovation Center capabilities include a larger and more\ncapable Material and Processes Lab, a new Integration Test Lab, an upgraded\nAdvanced Design & Development Lab, and new environmental equipment and\ntesting capabilities as well as significant floor space increase for\ndevelopment and testing. Additionally, the Innovation Center features flexible\nand collaborative workspaces and amenities to provide an optimal team\nenvironment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThese new facilities and capabilities enable our engineers,\ntechnicians and researchers to more rapidly design, develop and certify our\nnext generation of Cirrus products in a connected, synergetic environment,\u201d\nsaid Ken Harness, Senior Vice President of Product Development of Cirrus\nAircraft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThe Innovation Center is an incredible company milestone\nthat supports the future development and endeavors of Cirrus Aircraft product\ndevelopment,\u201d said Zean Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of Cirrus Aircraft.\n\u201cWe are continuing to invest in the company and the City of Duluth with the\nInnovation Center opening. We have worked closely with our partners to renovate\nthe building and hire more engineers and technicians to join the new facility\nin Duluth.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over thirty engineers and technicians have been added since\n2022, now exceeding 300 people at the Innovation Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n![\"\"](\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Cirrus-Innovation-Center-Experimental-Lab.jpg\")
