Overman<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tennessee Aeronautics Commission (TAC) is a governor\nappointed five-member advisory board to the Commissioner of the Department of\nTransportation who are assigned the duties of assisting in the formulation of\nrelevant policy planning and approving\/disapproving all proposed changes in the\nstate airport system plan, existing under the authority of Tennessee Code\nAnnotated 42-2-301.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Overman brings a wealth of aviation and engineering\nexperience to the Aeronautics Commission.&nbsp;&nbsp;\nA longtime resident of middle Tennessee, he is licensed pilot and\nprofessional engineer. Over the last 44 years Mr. Overman has managed projects\nat 10 general aviation airports in Tennessee plus large multi-year construction\nprograms at Nashville International, Memphis International, and Tri-Cities\nRegional Airports. In addition to airports in Tennessee, he has managed\nmulti-million-dollar programs for airports across the nation and\ninternationally.&nbsp; He has a reputation for\ncompleting complex projects with very tight time and budget constraints.\nProjects under his control have received numerous excellence awards. Over his\n44-year history, he has been personally responsible for five new air carrier\nrunways, four new air carrier terminals, two completely new air carrier\nairports and dozens of terminal and civil renovation projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Overman has served as the President\/CEO at DTKJ\nAssociates, COO \/ Executive Vice President of Berger Group Holdings, a\n6000-person international engineering company with offices on 5 continents,\nPresident of PBS&amp;J International, an international start-up operation for\nthe PBSJ Corporation primarily focused on Middle Eastern countries, COO \/\nExecutive Vice President of PBS&amp;J, a 4000-person design and program\nmanagement firm.
