Breeze Airways has completed its initial hiring to support its newest base and expects to expand to as many as 250 full- time jobs, including pilots, \u00ef\u00ac\u0082ight crews, support sta\u00ef\u00ac\u0080, and maintenance personnel to sustain up to a total of 20 nonstop routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThere have been many exciting developments for our airport\nin recent weeks,\u201d penned Iftikhar Ahmad, President and CEO of the Rhode Island\nAirport Corporation. \u201cBreeze Airways began o\u00ef\u00ac\u0080ering the \u00ef\u00ac\u0081rst regularly scheduled\nWest Coast service in our airport\u2019s history and also established a base of\noperations at Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport creating new jobs\nand new connections for our state.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Breeze\u2019s PVD-based aircraft are \u00ef\u00ac\u0082ying two new routes to\nCincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. Each aircraft begins and ends its daily\noperations at PVD. On May 17, 2023, Breeze Airways also launched a new nonstop\nservice twice a week to Los Angeles, California.
