He previously\nserved as Airport Manager for Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport in Queensbury, NY,\nfrom 1999-2008. Stevens, who will join MSCAA on October 9, was selected from a\nfield of 64 candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stevens will succeed Terry Blue, who will assume the role of\nMSCAA\u2019s President and CEO on January 1, 2024, following the retirement of\ncurrent President and CEO Scott Brockman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stevens\u2019 experience in the airport industry also includes\neight years with private aviation consulting companies. He is an Accredited\nAirport Executive (A.A.E.) by the American Association of Airport Executives\n(AAAE) and currently serves as secretary\/treasurer for the AAAE board of\ndirectors. Stevens previously served as the Past President for the Northeast\nChapter of AAAE as well as the board of directors for both the New York\nManagement Association and the Modern Transit Partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He received a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management\nfrom the Florida Institute of Technology. He is also a founding board member\nand secretary for Pilots with a Purpose, a nonprofit organization whose mission\nis to provide flight instruction and aviation education to underprivileged and\nminority students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMarshall\u2019s extensive experience in aviation coupled with\nhis industry leadership made him the ideal candidate for this position,\u201d said\nBlue. \u201cHis presence on the MSCAA management team will ensure a seamless\ntransition as I move into my role as the new President and CEO.
