The National Air Traffic Controllers Association, AFL-CIO\n(NATCA) announced today the appointment of Josh Nassar as its new Director of\nGovernment Affairs effective July 24, 2023. He will be responsible for leading\nNATCA\u2019s legislative and political efforts to preserve, promote, and improve the\nworking conditions of air traffic controllers and other aviation safety\nemployees, and the safety of the National Airspace System. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With more than 20 years of Capitol Hill experience, Nassar\nbrings a wealth of knowledge and experience to NATCA. Prior to joining NATCA,\nhe worked for 11 years as the Legislative Director for the United Autoworkers,\nwhere he was named to The Hill\u2019s Top Lobbyists in 2021 and 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
