This is a growth of 52,640 passengers or an 11% increase when\ncomparing the statewide passenger counts to the first six months of 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the recent month of June, North Dakota also posted a\ntotal of 91,008 airline passenger boardings which is a 7% increase from June of\n2022. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cPositive demand and healthy aircraft load factors have\nhelped to fuel optimism for the airline industry that is operating within our\nstate.\u201d stated Kyle Wanner, Executive Director of the North Dakota Aeronautics\nCommission. \u201cI encourage both residents and visitors to utilize our North\nDakota airports, as increased demand plays a crucial role in expanding flight\nservices and enhancing destination choices for our communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New Route Announced<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Minot International Airport recently announced that they\nwill be receiving a new route to Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) in\nFlorida beginning November 22nd, 2023. The service provided through Allegiant\nAir will offer twice weekly service on Monday\u2019s and Friday\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>June Passenger Records<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Fargo Hector International Airport achieved a new\nmonthly passenger record with 40,174 passenger boardings. The previous record\nfor the airport for the month of June was set in 2019 with 40,003 passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Devils Lake Airport also achieved a new monthly\npassenger record with 792 passenger boardings.
