The 70th edition of the Experimental Aircraft\nAssociation\u2019s fly-in convention is July 24-30 at Wittman Regional Airport in\nOshkosh, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"582\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/WomenVentureGroupPhoto2022-LORES-edit-1-1024x582.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25836\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/WomenVentureGroupPhoto2022-LORES-edit-1-1024x582.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/WomenVentureGroupPhoto2022-LORES-edit-1-300x171.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/WomenVentureGroupPhoto2022-LORES-edit-1.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption><em>EAA WomenVenture 2022 Group Photo &#8211; EAA AirVenture Photo<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eaa.org\/airventure\/features-and-attractions\/eaa-womenventure\">EAA WomenVenture<\/a> has become an annual gathering point for women involved in aviation, from the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) of World War II to teenagers involved in EAA\u2019s GirlVenture day camp that week. The programs are design to encourage and inspire women who want to pursue their dreams of flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhat we\u2019ve seen over the 15-plus years of EAA WomenVenture\nis that it has become an unforgettable annual reunion of all women engaged in\naviation,\u201d said Margaret Viola, an EAA-member pilot who is the volunteer chair\nof the event. \u201cWe are inspired by those who came before us and, in turn, are\nenthused to share the world of flight with others who want to become part of\nit. It\u2019s a celebration that happens in a unique way at Oshkosh.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Events will be held all week, with an emphasis on July 26\nactivities, including commemoration of 30 years of women flying combat missions\nin the U.S. military.
