Perry Miller<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Perry Miller, A.A.E., I.A.P., President & Chief\nExecutive Officer, Richmond International Airport, took office Monday, June 5,\nas Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) for 2023-24.\nFounded in 1928, AAAE is the world\u2019s largest professional organization\nrepresenting individuals who work at public-use commercial and general aviation\nairports. Other key appointments to the Association\u2019s Executive Committee,\nBoard of Directors, and Policy Review Council were also finalized during the\n95th Annual AAAE Conference & Exposition in Denver, held June 3-5 and\nhosted by Denver International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAAAE is incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding\nslate of airport professionals from across the country who are willing to give\nof their time and talent to help guide our association forward,\u201d AAAE President\nand CEO Todd Hauptli said. \u201cThey are leaders in every sense of the word, and\nthe recognition they have earned from their peers is a testament to the\ncommitment they have shown to AAAE and the airport profession.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miller was one of six Executive Committee members elected by\nAAAE membership. He succeeds Mark Gale, A.A.E., Chief Executive Officer &\nDirector of Aviation, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, who\nbecomes First Past Chair. The Second Past Chair is Larry Krauter, A.A.E., AICP,\nChief Executive Officer, Spokane International Airport. Other Executive Committee\nmembers elected by AAAE membership are First Vice Chair Rick Crider, A.A.E.,\nExecutive Vice President, Airport\/Railport & Military Relations, Port San\nAntonio; Second Vice Chair Rebecca Hupp, A.A.E., Airport Director, Boise\nAirport; and Secretary\/Treasurer Marshall Stevens, A.A.E., Deputy Executive\nDirector, Harrisburg International Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
