Campagna has more than two decades of financial\nleadership in both public and private companies, including tenure as CFO at\naerospace and space travel company Virgin Galactic Holdings, Inc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In May, Opener appointed Ken Karklin to Chief Executive\nOfficer replacing Marcus Leng, Opener Aero founder and eVTOL pioneer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I am absolutely delighted to announce Jon Campagna&#8217;s\nappointment as our CFO,&#8221; said Karklin. &#8220;Jon is an exceptional\nfinancial leader with a proven track record. His wealth of finance and strategy\nexpertise, combined with his deep understanding of the aviation sector, will be\nimmensely valuable to Opener. With Jon joining our leadership team, we are\nfurther equipped to drive our growth by seizing the tremendous opportunity that\nlies ahead of us.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jon Campagna expressed his excitement about joining Opener,\nstating, &#8220;It\u2019s inspiring to join Opener at such an exciting time. I have great admiration for Opener&#8217;s accomplishments and am truly\nhonored to be a part of this inventive company as we scale and continue to\ndisrupt the aviation industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most recently, Campagna served as CFO at Capella Space Corp\nand CFO at Virgin Galactic, where he played a pivotal role in driving financial\nstrategy, facilitating operational growth, and transitioning from a privately\nheld to a public company. Previously, Campagna held financial leadership roles\nin Europe and the US at Ericsson and ICON Aircraft. He began his career in the\nSouthern California audit practice at PwC.
