The in-person enrollment\nrequires that applicants provide proof of identity, proof of citizenship,\nfingerprints and a photo.&nbsp; IDEMIA offers\nTSA PreCheck enrollment for $78 and if approved, travelers get a five-year\nmembership with the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the in-person enrollment appointment, most applicants\nreceive their Known Traveler Number (KTN) in about three to five days. The KTN\nnumber must be added to flight reservations to enjoy TSA PreCheck benefits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TSA PreCheck was created in December 2011 as a way to\nprovide low-risk travelers with a smoother experience through airport security.\nIt\u2019s a great option for travelers looking to save time. Enrolled members do not\nneed to remove shoes, laptops, 3-1-1 liquids, belts, or light jackets. They\nalso access TSA PreCheck dedicated screening lanes at over 200 participating\nU.S. airports nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re pleased to have this TSA PreCheck enrollment event at\nEWN,\u201d said Airport Director Andrew Shorter. \u201cOnce our terminal expansion is\ncomplete, we will have TSA PreCheck lines available for our passengers to use\nto save time and make flying out of EWN even easier.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are unable to make the Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) enrollment event, but are still interested in enrolling in TSA PreCheck, please complete the <a href=\"https:\/\/tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov\/programs\/precheck\">application online<\/a> and schedule an appointment at one of the 550+ enrollment centers nationwide.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coastal Carolina Regional Airport (EWN) will be hosting a TSA PreCheck\u00ae enrollment event in collaboration with IDEMIA, a TSA PreCheck authorized enrollment provider.
