This is Cirrus Aircraft’s second
ALSIM device for the SR20, with the company currently operating an ALSIM SR FTD
at its Vision Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The new SR20 AATD is a training replica of the Cirrus
Aircraft G6 SR Series aircraft. It is equipped with Garmin® Perspective+,
Garmin GDU 1050A, and GFC 700 Autopilot. Additionally, customers can practice
deploying the Cirrus Airframe Parachute System® (CAPS®).

The new simulator acquisition comes just over one year after
Cirrus Aircraft and ALSIM announced its first acquisition of the SR flight
simulator.

Dr. Scott Firsing of ALSIM’s North America office explains:
“It has been a pleasure working with the various members of the Cirrus Aircraft
team over the past 18 months. They have provided comprehensive feedback on the
SR FTD in Knoxville, to make it the most realistic device possible. In fact, it
has been great to work with all Cirrus Aircraft Flight Training and Cirrus
Training Centers from around the world that have recently purchased ALSIM’s SR
range. This includes flight training organisations from Australia, China,
Germany, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United States.”

Rob Haig, Cirrus Aircraft’s Chief Pilot and VP of Flight
Operations added “Our instructors had extensive time testing the ALSIM SR AATD
while the simulator was at our booth during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh and Cirrus
CX. This, and having used our FTD in Knoxville and working with the ALSIM team
in general, made the AATD purchase a logical choice for our Scottsdale Flight
Training operation.”

Over the coming months, ALSIM will add the Cirrus SR22 and
SR22T flight models to both SR simulators to help meet Cirrus Aircraft’s global
training demand.

ALSIM announced that Cirrus Aircraft has acquired a new ALSIM SR20 Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) simulator for its new flight training operation in Scottsdale, Arizona.
