With this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\/advanced_operations\/package_delivery_drone\">part 135 Certification<\/a>, Flytrex and CAU will further expand their drone delivery service nationwide \u2013 eventually offering food, drinks and other goods to the more than 82 million eligible back and front yards across the U.S. This approval has only been granted to a prestigious list of select companies \u2013 including Amazon Prime Air, Alphabet\u2019s Wing, UPS and Zipline \u2013 to date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-1edit-4-1024x684.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24636\" width=\"283\" height=\"189\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-1edit-4-1024x684.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-1edit-4-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-1edit-4.jpg 1100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 283px) 100vw, 283px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe live in an era of instant gratification, where consumers\nwant to get their food or goods faster, more reliably, more economically and\nmore sustainably \u2013 and drone delivery has risen to the occasion,\u201d said Yariv\nBash, CEO and cofounder of Flytrex. \u201cFlytrex\u2019s continued success delivering to\ncustomers throughout North Carolina and Texas has put us ahead of the curve.\nWith this certification, we look forward to bringing our super swift, sustainable\nand safe airborne delivery systems to every backyard across the US.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In September 2022, Flytrex opened its fifth U.S. drone\ndelivery station in Durham, North Carolina. Durham marked the fourth station in\nthe \u2018First in Flight\u2019 state, joining three other operational stations in\nFayetteville, Raeford, and Holly Springs; and prior to this, Flytrex expanded\nits drone delivery service to Granbury, Texas, just outside of Dallas-Fort\nWorth. The services operate in cooperation with CAU \u2013 delivering tens of\nthousands of items to hundreds of thousands of homes across its service areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFlytrex\u2019s technological expertise, innovation and\nsafety-first approach has helped elevate our service to new heights in drone\ndelivery,\u201d said Jeff Causey, Founder and COO of Causey Aviation. \u201cOur close\ncooperation with the FAA has provided just the right tailwinds to help bring\nabout this drone revolution. We are honored to receive this certification,\nbringing us one step closer to making drone delivery standard for all US\nconsumers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since successfully launching the world\u2019s first fully\nautonomous urban drone delivery system in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 2017, Flytrex\nand CAU have been working closely with regulators to help ensure the highest\nsafety standards in getting drone delivery off the ground.
