Rodr\u00c3\u00adguez is an Aeronautical Engineer from the\nUniversidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid with various aeronautical technology patents\nto his credits, with more than 20 years&#8217; experience in the aeronautical and\naerospace industry as well as in consultancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/GustavoRodriguez_CTO_UMILESNextFondoBlanco-edit-717x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24545\" width=\"180\" height=\"256\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/GustavoRodriguez_CTO_UMILESNextFondoBlanco-edit-717x1024.jpg 717w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/GustavoRodriguez_CTO_UMILESNextFondoBlanco-edit-210x300.jpg 210w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/GustavoRodriguez_CTO_UMILESNextFondoBlanco-edit.jpg 838w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 180px) 100vw, 180px\" \/><figcaption><em>Gustavo Rodriquez<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Before joining UMILES Next, Rodr\u00c3\u00adguez was Senior Technical\nManager at Altran (today Capgemini), a French multinational technology\nconsultancy, and was CTO at Ecosat Airchips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As CTO of UMILES Next, Gustavo Rodr\u00c3\u00adguez will design and\nimplement the technology department\u2019s strategy to support business growth in\nthe urban air and ground mobility of the future, working closely with the\nUMILES Next management team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gustavo Rodr\u00c3\u00adguez said: &#8220;I am delighted to be part of\nthis ambitious project and to spearhead technology growth at UMILES Next with\nthe support and experience of a very talented team. As I embark upon this challenge,\nI am utterly convinced this will be a great year for the company; a year in\nwhich its technology capabilities in the mobility sector will scale new\nheights.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rodr\u00c3\u00adguez will be reporting to Carlos Poveda, CEO of UMILES\nGroup, who said: &#8220;It gives us tremendous satisfaction to bring on board\nsuch a talented professional as Gustavo, who brings extensive knowledge,\nexpertise and motivation to the helm of our technology department.
