ASL Aviation Holdings and Reliable Robotics Corporation announced\na collaboration to explore the use of automated aircraft. Together, the\ncompanies will select a suitable aircraft for Reliable\u2019s Remotely Operated\nAircraft System with initial focus on large twin engine turboprop freighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis collaboration between ASL and Reliable is anchored on\na common purpose to fully evaluate how remote and single pilot technologies can\nbe developed and used to deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective cargo and\npassenger services,\u201d said ASL Aviation Holdings Director, Hugh Flynn. \u201cAt ASL\nwe are looking at how new technologies will change and improve aviation, and\nhow we can be at the forefront of that change to offer enhanced services to our\ncustomers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
ASL and Reliable will jointly assess the demand for remotely\noperated aircraft in Europe. Both companies are part of the ASL CargoVision\nForum, which brings together those engaged in the development of sustainable\naviation technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
