(PASSUR) announced that it has\nsuccessfully deployed its ARiVA\u2122 Platform (ARiVA) Deice Metering Program for\nuse by YYC Calgary International Airport, to ensure optimal alignment of flight\ndemand and capacity during deice events, when restricted operations can often\nlead to delays and other disruptions.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ARiVA solution will be used by YYC to establish and\nrevise the deice schedule ensuring that available deicing capacity is assigned\nin an optimal manner to meet departure demand while minimizing extended active\nflight wait queues into the Central Deicing Facility (CDF). Airlines will also\nhave the ability to view their own allocations, request new slot times, make\nswaps, and cancel flights as needed in ARiVA. The solution uses automation,\ndata integration, and real time collaboration on a common platform to\nstreamline the whole process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We look forward to our first winter using our new\nDeice Metering Program,&#8221; said Chris Miles, Vice President Operations and\nInfrastructure, The Calgary Airport Authority. &#8220;The new program will help\nus deliver more efficient deicing operations for our deicing contractor, airline\npartners, airport community, and guests.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The web hosted ARiVA Platform provides operational decision\nsupport with core capabilities in the areas of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>global gate-to-gate flight tracking<\/li><li>airfield surface monitoring<\/li><li>weather reporting<\/li><li>advanced flight predictions (estimated on time,\nestimated In time, etc.)<\/li><li>flight delay, long taxi-time, aircraft holding\nand diversion alerting<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the Deice Metering Program, ARiVA also offers\nairfield workflow optimization modules for single-screen collaboration between\nall Airport stakeholders for tows, ramp movements, and gate management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We are honored that Calgary has chosen ARiVA to meet\nthis critical need for the Airport and its stakeholders,&#8221; said Brian Cook,\nPASSUR Aerospace CEO. &#8220;Our ability to quickly execute on this program is\ntestament to the flexibility of ARiVA, our expertise in Airport Collaborative\nDecision Making (ACDM) principles, and the partnership approach we take with\nour customers.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PASSUR and YYC were able to quickly deploy the ARiVA Deice\nMetering system in a matter of weeks for use during the YYC 2022-2023 deicing\nseason.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PASSUR Aerospace, Inc.
