He then moved to\naviation aircraft acquisitions and aircraft management, which lead to him\nlaunching his companies, Private Jet Central, PJC Aviation and Down-Route, in\n2008, 2012 and 2015 respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI had always wanted to obtain my Private Pilot License, and\nwhilst doing this my instructor said he wished he had someone who could sell\ncharters for them,\u201d said Hudson. \u201cI had sales experience, so I said, \u201cI\u2019ll do\nit!\u201d The opportunity presented itself, and that\u2019s how I arrived in the\nindustry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his role of Regional CEO \u2013 APAC, Andy will be focusing on\nthe growth opportunities in the region\u2019s marketplace, using his prior\nexperience of expanding his own companies throughout Europe, Middle East and\nAsia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cChapman Freeborn\u2019s offering, combined with its place within\nAvia Solutions Group, means there is a growth curve to activate in the APAC\nregion, and I\u2019m very excited about being part of that,\u201d continued Hudson. \u201cWe\u2019re\ngoing on a journey of developing and implementing our products and services,\ngrasping the opportunities that this relatively untapped market presents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hudson was drawn to the Chapman Freeborn Group when he saw\nthe expansion, growth and change the company is currently enjoying. \u201cI love the\ntraditional and historical place that Chapman Freeborn has in our industry, and\nI also love preserving history; taking it forward to the next generation and\nensuring it is never in a position when it is not growing,\u201d said Hudson. \u201cAs\nChapman Freeborn approaches its 50th anniversary in the coming months, there\nhas never been a better time to focus on this preservation and development.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eric Erbacher, Chapman Freeborn Group CEO, said, with over\n30 years of international business and entrepreneurial experience, Andy brings\na wealth of knowledge to our colleagues across the Group and to the APAC\nregion. \u201cI am convinced that Andy and all our APAC colleagues will develop and\nturn this vital region into a major source of our future success.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Chapman Freeborn, the global air charter specialist and part of Avia Solutions Group, has appointed Andy Hudson as Regional CEO \u2013 APAC.
