New York\u2019s Aviation High School is a leading education\ncenter for future aircraft maintainers and aerospace professionals. Joby\u2019s\npartnership with the school comes shortly after the Company announced a\nmulti-year partnership with Delta Air Lines to deliver transformational,\nsustainable home-to-airport service for Delta customers, beginning in New York\nand Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the partnership, 100 Aviation High School\nstudents have already enrolled in Joby\u2019s online Private Pilot Ground School\ncourse, which teaches the basics of aerodynamics, aviation and piloting. Joby\nwill also work with the school\u2019s faculty to integrate material on electric\npropulsion systems and other new technologies into its curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joby recently brought 4 virtual-reality simulators to\nAviation High School, located in Long Island City. Students had the opportunity\nto virtually pilot the Company\u2019s electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL)\naircraft, which has a dramatically lower noise signature than traditional\nhelicopters and produces zero emissions during flight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With more than 1,000 test flights completed, Joby has\ndemonstrated its revolutionary aircraft has the range, speed, altitude, and low\nnoise profile to operate quiet and sustainable trips in and around communities\nlike New York City and the tri-state area. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
