The categories are aimed at recognizing the diversity of\nbusiness aviation entities and different emissions scopes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NBAA\u2019s accreditation program, which is not limited to flight\ndepartments, provides an industry standard for validating leadership in\nsustainable flight operations. The goal is to promote a culture of\nsustainability by encouraging companies to think and act critically, and to\nimplement as many sustainability strategies as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initial awardees include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mente LLC (Flight)<\/li><li>Monarch Air Group, DBA Mercury Jets (Operations)<\/li><li>Netflix (Flight, Operations, Ground Support and\nInfrastructure)<\/li><li>Steelcase, Inc. (Flight)<\/li><li>Textron Aviation, Wichita Service Center (Ground\nSupport)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>NBAA also accredited several other entities that wish to\nremain anonymous. The initial recipients are the first batch of 2022 awardees,\nand audits will continue to be completed throughout the year. All of this\nyear\u2019s awardees will be considered inaugural recipients, and NBAA will continue\nto recognize companies as they achieve this accreditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis is a pivotal moment for our industry\u2019s commitment to\nsustainability.
