North Dakota\u2019s eight commercial service airports posted a\ntotal of 94,620 airline passenger boardings during the month of October 2022.\nThis is a 9% increase from the 86,948 boardings that the state experienced one\nyear ago in October of 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The demand for air travel in North Dakota has continued its\nsteady recovery throughout 2022 and passenger levels have stabilized to\napproximately 7% below pre-pandemic numbers. \nNorth Dakota\u2019s air service continues to show an elevated level of demand\nfor the seats that are available, and passengers continue to experience airline\nflights that are at or close to capacity. \nThis strong demand is expected to continue throughout the holiday season,\nand it is recommended that passengers work to secure tickets a few weeks in\nadvance of any planned trips if possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
