Santoro, AIA, NCARB is an aviation industry leader and\nlicensed architect with 15 years’ experience in terminal planning and design.\nAt her position at Gensler, Jennie leverages her extensive experience\ncollaborating with contractors and a variety of stakeholders to lead the\noffice\u2019s strategic efforts in aviation architecture and design. She has\ncontributed to and led design and delivery for some of the largest and most\ncomplex terminal projects in the nation, including LAX Terminals 7 & 8\nRedevelopment, SAN Terminal 2 West Expansion, SFO Harvey Milk Terminal 1, and\nMCO South Terminal C \u2013 a multi-billion-dollar greenfield terminal complex that\nrecently opened in Orlando, Florida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jennie\u2019s previous leadership with ACC includes serving on\nthe inaugural Board of the ACC Foundation and as the Chair of Young\nProfessionals (YP) Committee where she created the program for YP regional\nmeetups. She received the ACC Board of Directors Chair Award as one of the\nleaders that developed the YP program and was named a \u201cTop 40 Under 40\u201d award\nrecipient by Airport Business Magazine for her academic, professional, and\ncommunity achievements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jennie earned a Master and Bachelor of Architecture from the\nCatholic University of America, School of Architecture and Planning, in\nWashington, D.C. Jennie has a passion for mentoring and supporting the\ndevelopment of professionals in the industry. She\u2019s spoken at conferences and authored\narticles on topics of mentorship and the multi-generational workforce. Jennie\nserves as an Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP) panelist for the\nresearch project \u2018Cultivating Talent in the Airport Environment.\u2019 She mentored\nwith ACE (Architecture Construction Engineering) Mentorship Program of America\nin Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Diego affiliates; AIA (American Institute of\nArchitects) Los Angeles Chapter; and at GALA (Girls Academic Leadership\nAcademy), an all-girls public STEM middle and high school in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
