I am proud of what we have accomplished and have no doubt that the\nprograms currently in place will continue to grow and generate innovative and\npioneering ideas for our industry,\u201d said Spowart. \u201cThe NAHF is incredibly\nstrong and will continue to be an increasingly vital force in educating and\nbuilding the future workforce.\u201d&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Accepting the leadership role in 2017, Spowart led the\nsuccessful effort to achieve the NAHF strategic goal of significantly expanding\nits reach from a regional focus to a national level. Spowart brought the NAHF\ncurrent by creating nationally recognized programs, initiating and\nstrengthening partnerships, and providing visionary thought leadership. She\noversaw the formation of critical alliances, including with PBS, to develop the\nSTEAM-based educational and workforce program, Discovering Flight with the\nNational Aviation Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOn behalf of the Board of Trustees, we thank Amy for her\nservice and leadership. The NAHF is strong, healthy, and financially sound,\nwith a remarkable team in place that will continue to build on Amy\u2019s legacy and\nmany accomplishments,\u201d said David Brixey, Vice-Chair of the Board. \u201cWe are\ncommitted to a smooth and transparent transition and to finding the best\npossible candidate for this important role.\u201d&nbsp;\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The NAHF profoundly appreciates the dedication and service\nof Spowart and wishes her continued success in her new endeavors.
