Piper has received numerous requests for unpaved\nfield certification from several global markets and is pleased to announce kit\napproval has also been completed for Canada, the UK, and Europe (EASA). Brazil\ncertification is expected in early 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"333\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Piper-M600-AUS-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23921\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Piper-M600-AUS-1.jpg 250w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Piper-M600-AUS-1-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><figcaption><em>M600<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>All 2022 M600\/SLS aircraft, starting with serial number 198,\nare factory provisioned to operate on unpaved fields with the incorporation of\nSupplement #5 into the approved aircraft Pilot\u2019s Operating Handbook. Fielded\n2016-2021 M600 aircraft equipped with five blade propellers also have the\noption to be modified by Piper Kit #88705-702 to accommodate the same unpaved\nfield operations. The primary kit components include a slightly redesigned nose\nfork and scissor link to handle unpaved field surface inconsistencies, the\ninstallation of a small nose gear wheel well plate cutout allowing the nose\nwheel to stow properly with the gear retracted, and a POH supplement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Piper M600\/SLS is known for its performance,\nreliability and versatility over a wide array of general aviation missions,\u201d\nsaid John Calcagno, President and CEO of Piper Aircraft, Inc. \u201cNow, with the\naddition of unpaved field capability, the M600\u2019s versatility and asset value is\ntaken to a whole new level.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Piper Aircraft is running an introductory promotion for all\nM600 unpaved field kits ordered before November 30, 2022.
