This additional site will\ncompliment Jet East\u2019s current footprint which includes coast to coast\nmaintenance bases and an expansive AOG network. Located 40 minutes north of\nCharlotte (CLT), the new base is comprised of two state-of-the-art facilities\nwith a combined 75,000 square feet of hangar space, 40,000 square feet of\noffice and back shop space and an additional parcel of adjacent land for future\ngrowth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main hangar was built in 2004 and is in immaculate\ncondition. It is fully equipped with LED lighting, fall protection, and a fire\nsuppression system for Jet East to take immediate possession. A secondary\nhangar provides the same appealing infrastructure and was built in 2007.&nbsp; The City of Statesville and airport officials\nhave been working behind the scenes with the Jet East leadership team and are\nequally excited about the new partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jet East has targeted Q1 of 2023 as an estimated timeframe\nfor launch.&nbsp; When fully operational,\ncustomers can expect full-service capabilities from the SVH location, including\nevery facet of maintenance, avionics, interiors, composites and structures. In\naddition, there are immediate plans to construct a brand-new paint facility at\nthe site. The company estimates bringing more than 250 jobs to the area as a\nresult of the new location.&nbsp; Key airframe\ntypes that will be the primary focus include Cessna, Gulfstream, Bombardier,\nand Embraer products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe facility at SVH offers an amazing opportunity for Jet\nEast and allows us to expand our capacity, capabilities and reach within a key\nregion of the U.S.,\u201d noted Stephen Maiden, Jet East President and CEO.&nbsp; Maiden continued, \u201cThe facility is in\nimpeccable condition.
