In that role he\noversees all of NBAA\u2019s activities related to aircraft and flight department\noperations, including administrative, financial, and human resources functions.\nRocheleau recently came to the NBAA after serving over 20 years with the FAA,\nincluding as acting associate administrator for aviation safety, chief of\nstaff, assistant administrator for policy, executive director for international\naffairs, and director of the office of emergency operations and investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kerry-Buckleyedit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23804\" width=\"128\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kerry-Buckleyedit.jpg 518w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kerry-Buckleyedit-227x300.jpg 227w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 128px) 100vw, 128px\" \/><figcaption>D<em>r. Kerry Buckley<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Kerry Buckley serves as vice president for the MITRE\nCorporation\u2019s Center for Advanced Aviation System Development (CAASD), the\nfederally funded research and development center that MITRE operates for the\nFAA. She leads MITRE\u2019s domestic and international civil aviation, aerospace,\nand transportation strategic and business operations.
