Achieves IS-BAO Registration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/guardianhelicoptersusa.com\/\">Guardian Helicopters Inc<\/a> (GHI) announced its operation has achieved Stage 1 registration for the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Guardian-Heli-edit.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23671\" width=\"257\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Guardian-Heli-edit.jpg 500w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Guardian-Heli-edit-300x226.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 257px) 100vw, 257px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The IS-BAO is developed by the International Business\nAviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations and is a recommended\nvoluntary code of best practices designed to help flight operations (fixed- and\nrotor-wing) achieve high levels of safety and professionalism in their\noperations around the world. IS-BAO is a safety standard recognized by the\nInternational Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), Doc 10004, Global Safety\nPlan. The Stage 1 confirms that the Safety Management System (SMA)\ninfrastructure is established and that safety management activities are\nappropriately targeted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Robert Satz, Director of Safety, Guardian Helicopters said,\n\u201cWe are pleased to have successfully attained IS-BAO Stage 1. It is truly a testament\nto our team\u2019s commitment to safety and risk mitigation. This achievement will\nhelp us to grow and expand our business with vital safety processes in place.\nIt will certainly reduce our risks, especially when back filling positions and\ntraining new members of the team.\u201d&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe entire Guardian operation should be very proud of this\nachievement,\u201d commented Andrew Karas, IS-BAO Program Director.&nbsp; \u201cAs a voluntary internationally recognized\nstandard, it represents their commitment to safety and professionalism, and we\nlook forward to working with them on their journey to the next stage.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Guardian is owned by entrepreneur, Phillip DiFiore and is\nlocated in Ventura County. It operates ten Bell and Airbus helicopters.
