Dawsey, SHRM-SCP, as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.\nDawsey began her role at the District on August 1, 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignleft is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Kelly-Dawsey-GSP-CHRO-240x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23340\" width=\"180\" height=\"225\"\/><figcaption><em>Kelly Dawsey<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cKelly will be a valued addition to the GSP team. Her vast\nexperience in the areas of compensation, benefits, strategic planning, and\nrecruiting will allow the District to reach new heights,\u201d said Dave Edwards,\npresident and CEO of GSP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dawsey has a three-decade successful track record in human\nresources. Her extensive experience includes positions in multiple industries\nfrom nuclear materials management, construction and home services to 25 years\nof automotive manufacturing at the BMW production facility in upstate South\nCarolina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am thrilled to have the opportunity to join the GSP\nAirport District executive leadership team,\u201d said Dawsey. \u201cI look forward to\nbuilding on the strong foundation and advancing the human resources function to\nmeet the future business strategic challenges.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dawsey is a resident of Simpsonville, SC and is a graduate\nof Clemson University. At GSP, Dawsey will oversee human resource functions for\nmore than 200 District employees and serve on the organization\u2019s Executive\nLeadership Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District oversees the\noperation of Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport including management\nof administration, police, fire, corporate aviation, commercial services,\ncargo, facilities, maintenance, land development, and terminal and airfield\noperations for the facility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Greenville-Spartanburg Airport District (District) has named Kelly G.
