Most recently, he was the\nAirport Manager for Moore County Airport in Carthage, North Carolina where he\nmanaged and oversaw the airport and fixed base operation (which was owned and\noperated by the Moore County Airport Authority). Prior to Moore County, Scotty\nwas the Airport Manager at Castle Airport in Merced, California for 18 years\nand he was the Operations Manager at Roanoke Regional Airport in Roanoke,\nVirginia for 2 years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malta has two Master of Science degrees in Aviation\nManagement and Aviation Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University,\nis an American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) Accredited Airport\nExecutive, is a Southwest Chapter of the AAAE (SWAAAE) Certified Airport\nExecutive, has a private pilot certificate, and served 20 years in the United\nState Air Force as a Chief Air Traffic Control Officer and Airfield Operations\nFlight Commander.
