The foundation donated $15,000 in support of WAI\u2019s programs\ndesigned to promote women working in all areas of aviation and aerospace. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;The ISTAT Foundation\u2019s continued support of Women in\nAviation International is vital to our work to bring diversity and equity to\nthe aviation and aerospace industry,\u201d says WAI CEO Allison McKay. \u201cOur focus is\nto increase the number of women who work in every aspect of the aviation\nindustry. We have no doubt that lives are changed by the work we do to\nencourage diversity throughout our industry. We are proud to have the support\nof the ISTAT Foundation to help us reach our goals.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As in past years, The ISTAT Foundation is identified as the\ndistribution sponsor of this year\u2019s AFG issue. The 2022 issue will be available\ndigitally to all Women in Aviation International members and any interested\nindividuals at https:\/\/bit.ly\/AviationforGirls2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lsc-pagepro.mydigitalpublication.com\/publication\/?i=670010\">Aviation for Girls<\/a> will also be polybagged with the September\/October 2022 issue of Aviation for Women so that all WAI members have a copy of the magazine to pass along to a daughter, granddaughter, niece, neighbor, or other girl in their lives.\u00c2\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this 36-page magazine, girls ages 8 to 17 are\nintroduced to careers in aviation and aerospace.&nbsp; Aviation for Girls is an integral part of\nWAI\u2019s Girls in Aviation Day. The print version of Aviation for Girls 2022 will\nbe provided to thousands of GIAD participants worldwide, and all eight issues\nof the magazine are available digitally on the Aviation for Girls App. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ISTAT Foundation was founded in 1994 to provide funds\nfor scholarships, educational programs, and grants to qualified individuals and\ninstitutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and\nhumanitarianism.
