This unique program is designed to increase awareness of the\nflight training opportunities that exist within the L3Harris Flight Academy, as\nwell as showcase the Piper training product line in use at a rigorous FAA\npart-141 flight school. The collaborative initiative is expected to create a\ncommunity of like-minded aviation enthusiasts with a career interest in\naviation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Together, Piper Aircraft and the team at the L3Harris Flight\nAcademy selected the two new ambassadors. The application process consisted of\na virtual application followed by multiple interviews, which eventually pointed\nto two top candidates. Emily Royster, Instrument student, and Garrett Winkler,\nCommercial student, were both selected based on their passion for aviation, unique\ncareer stories, and flight training success. Emily and Garrett will join the\ngrowing program of eight ambassadors, which now includes four flight schools:\nthe L3Harris Flight Academy, the University of North Dakota, Purdue University,\nand Minnesota State University at Mankato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEach of these new ambassadors have a unique story and\ncareer path that led them to the aviation industry, bringing a different\nperspective to those considering a career as a professional pilot.
