Deliveries will be made in cooperation with longtime partner\nCausey Aviation Unmanned, offering food, drinks and other goods to\napproximately 100,000 eligible customers that can opt into the service \u2013 a\nsubstantial increase from the 40,000 customers that were previously eligible.\nFlytrex and Causey will conduct all flights while maintaining the highest\nsafety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-food-delivery-NCedit2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22959\" width=\"201\" height=\"382\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-food-delivery-NCedit2.jpg 378w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/Flytrex-food-delivery-NCedit2-158x300.jpg 158w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 201px) 100vw, 201px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This approval is the latest of several achievements for\nFlytrex, including the recent expansion of its drone delivery service to\nGranbury, Texas, just outside of Dallas-Fort Worth. Flytrex also has three\noperational stations in the state of North Carolina: in Fayetteville, Raeford,\nand Holly Springs. With a rapidly growing list of collaborations with leading\nrestaurant and retail chains, Flytrex completes thousands of deliveries every\nmonth. This approval enables Flytrex to vastly expand operations and reach\nsignificantly more customers with its fast, efficient, and sustainable\non-demand delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDrone delivery at scale is finally taking off, and this\napproval from the FAA positions us squarely at the forefront of that movement,\u201d\nsaid Yariv Bash, co-founder and CEO of Flytrex. \u201cThis approval allows us to\nreach roughly 100,000 customers with our ultrafast delivery, and we look\nforward to continuing this exciting flightpath to one day bring three-minute\ndelivery to the tens of millions of backyards across the US.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process for ordering delivery via drone will remain the\nsame at each location. Eligible customers will be able to purchase a wide\nvariety of food orders and goods from nearby stores and local restaurants and\ncafes. Orders are placed using the Flytrex app, which updates customers\nregarding their order status along the route until the package is lowered\nsafely by wire into their backyards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flytrex successfully launched the world\u2019s first fully\nautonomous urban drone delivery system in Reykjavik, Iceland, in 2017. Flytrex\nhas been working closely with regulators to help ensure the highest safety\nstandards in getting drone delivery off the ground.
