Altaport provides software\ntechnology that Volatus will use to power their infrastructure experience for\nelectric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles allowing vehicle\noperators to schedule landings, maintenance, charging and storage at Volatus\nfacilities. Altaport\u2019s technology platform is designed to be vehicle agnostic,\nallowing users to facilitate ground operations for various aircraft\nmanufacturers at any Volatus location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur choice of software company needed to have the same\nphilosophy as Volatus so that we can ensure accessibility,\u201d said Volatus\nInfrastructure Co-Founder, Grant Fisk. \u201cWe achieved that by partnering with\nAltaport.\u201d Fisk went on to say, \u201cIt\u2019s all about having the correct people\naround the table to be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Altaport is activating and automating the world&#8217;s landing\ninfrastructure with a vertiport operating system and a global marketplace for\nlanding reservations. Leveraging Brazil&#8217;s current helicopter market as an\nanalog for future high-volume Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) traffic, Altaport has\nstarted to deploy its technology to major heliports and air taxi operators\nthroughout Brazil. By the end of 2022, Altaport will be active in Latin America\nand North America, with an eye toward Europe, the Middle East and Africa and Asia-Pacific\noperations in 2023.
