{"id":22838,"date":"2022-07-19T01:33:34","date_gmt":"2022-07-19T01:33:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=22838"},"modified":"2022-07-19T01:33:36","modified_gmt":"2022-07-19T01:33:36","slug":"lilium-partners-with-bristow-on-electric-air-mobility","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/evtol\/lilium-partners-with-bristow-on-electric-air-mobility\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Lilium Partners with Bristow on Electric Air Mobility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Bristow Group Inc., and Lilium N.V.), developer of the\nworld\u2019s first electric vertical-takeoff and landing (\u201ceVTOL\u201d) jet, announced a\nstrategic partnership where Bristow will have the option to purchase 50 Lilium\nJets in addition to providing maintenance services for the Lilium Jet\u2019s launch\nnetwork in Florida, and other future U.S and European markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (\u201cMOU\u201d) outlines\ncollaboration between Bristow and Lilium on the development of a maintenance\nprogram to support the operation of the Lilium Jet, including the ramp up of\nmaintenance in support of the Lilium Jet\u2019s entry into service (\u201cEIS\u201d) and post\nEIS services. The MOU also enables Bristow to become an authorized service\nprovider for Lilium. The MOU further outlines how Lilium and Bristow may\ncollaborate on the process for achieving the relevant regulatory approvals for\noperating the Lilium Jet in Florida and plans for Bristow to purchase 50 Lilium\nJets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lilium is among the first eVTOL companies to pair certified\nair carriers with infrastructure developers and support services, such as\nmaintenance and repair and flight training. The addition of Bristow as a Part\n145 maintenance provider marks significant progress for Lilium, adding another\nreputable partner to enable its regional air service in North America and\nEurope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Daniel Wiegand, Co-Founder and CEO of Lilium, said, \u201cThe\nBristow partnership builds on our existing partnerships with other\nbest-in-class organizations.
