Grants funded by the IADA Foundation range from $1,000 to $5,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IADA Foundation, a tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) public\ncharitable organization, has arranged with 21 public and private colleges and\nuniversities to offer individual scholarships to undergraduate and graduate\nstudents seeking further education leading to professions within the business\naviation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe IADA business aviation scholarship program benefits\nuniversity students seeking a career in business aviation, specifically within\ncorporate aircraft sales, marketing, finance, legal, and insurance\ndisciplines,\u201d said IADA Executive Director Wayne Starling. \u201cStudents can apply\nonline.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those interested in applying can find the application at\nwww.IADA.aero. Participating schools have been assigned a keycode specific to\ntheir college or university. Applicants must obtain the code from their\nschool\u2019s financial aid office to access the application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can use the code to login to www.IADA.aero,\ncomplete the online application, upload transcripts and submit an essay about\ntheir passion, interests or inspiration for aviation. Applicants are selected\nbased on a points system, with the highest-ranking students across multiple\nschools awarded scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Scholarship Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This award is available to full-time, undergraduate\n(freshman through senior) students (taking a minimum of 12 credit hours per\nsemester), as well as graduate students. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0\ncumulative GPA on a 4.0 grade scale (high school GPA for freshman applicants).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IADA board approves scholarships and advises selected\napplicants through their university\u2019s financial aid office no later than Nov.\n30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Participating schools include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Auburn University<\/li><li>Broward College<\/li><li>Charleston Southern University<\/li><li>Colorado Northwestern Community College<\/li><li>Embry Riddle Aeronautical University<\/li><li>Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech)<\/li><li>Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech)<\/li><li>Indiana State University<\/li><li>Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and\nTechnology<\/li><li>Louisiana Tech University<\/li><li>Metropolitan State University of Denver<\/li><li>Middle Georgia State University<\/li><li>Middle Tennessee State University<\/li><li>Oklahoma State University<\/li><li>Purdue University<\/li><li>Saint Louis University, Parks College of\nEngineering, Aviation and Technology<\/li><li>University of Nebraska Omaha<\/li><li>University of North Dakota, John D, Odegard\nSchool of Aerospace Sciences<\/li><li>University of Oklahoma<\/li><li>University of North Texas \u2013 Denton<\/li><li>Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If a student in an aviation program does not see their school\nlisted, they should ask the school\u2019s financial aid office to contact IADA\nManaging Director Erika Ingle at 866-284-4744.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) is accepting student applications for business aviation scholarships through Sept. 1, 2022.
