He has over 40 years of experience in IT,\nincluding network engineering and consulting. In his new role, he will oversee\nMSCAA\u2019s IT department, identify technology needs, make recommendations,\nevaluate and ensure cybersecurity and update and maintain the company\u2019s\ncomputing and communications software and hardware infrastructure. Ritter is\ncertified by the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as an\nAirport Certified Employee (ACE) and as a Certified Member (C.M.). An active\nleader in the IT industry, Ritter currently serves on the board of directors\nfor the Memphis Chapter of the Society for Information Management (SIM). He has more than 11 years of engineering experience\nand most recently led MSCAA\u2019s efforts in updating its Master Plan. Shaw is a\ngraduate of University of Memphis, Herff College of Engineering with a BS in\nCivil Engineering. He is also a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and is a\ncertified Project Management Professional (PMP). Shaw is also certified by the\nAmerican Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) as an Airport Certified\nEmployee (ACE) and a Certified Member (C.M.). As Director of Maintenance, Shaw\nis responsible for directing and overseeing the maintenance function for\nMemphis International Airport, including the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of\nstructures and infrastructure of airport-owned properties, landside, airside,\nand terminals as well as utilities, pavement, roadways, and grounds.
