{"id":22242,"date":"2022-05-24T14:03:24","date_gmt":"2022-05-24T14:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/saj.pachecostudios.com?p=22242"},"modified":"2022-05-24T14:03:25","modified_gmt":"2022-05-24T14:03:25","slug":"revv-aviation-expands-to-omaha-with-flight-school-opening-at-eppley-airfield","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/index.php\/state-news\/nebraska\/revv-aviation-expands-to-omaha-with-flight-school-opening-at-eppley-airfield\/%20","title":{"rendered":"Revv Aviation Expands to Omaha with Flight School Opening at Eppley Airfield"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With a flight school in Council Bluffs that serves more than\n250 students, Revv Aviation, formerly Advanced Air, is expanding its operations\non June 1 to Eppley Airfield in Omaha.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion allows for advanced aviation training,\nincluding multi-engine instruction and tower communications skills in addition\nto beginning flight lessons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have about 120 students who fly as part of the\nUniversity of Nebraska-Omaha Part-141 flight program, and this will make it\nmore convenient and accessible for some of those students,\u201d said Jerome Howard,\nChief Flight Instructor for Revv Aviation. \u201cIt also allows for advanced flight\ninstructions where students learn proper tower and ground controller\ncommunications in a more dense flying environment.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Revv Aviation is leasing offices at the TAC Air fixed-base\noperator (FBO), at 3737 Orville Plaza, at Eppley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re going to start with two Cessna 172 trainers and two\nmulti-engine Piper Seminoles,\u201d said Howard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can begin signing up for lessons immediately by\ncalling 712-314-2444 or by emailing Jerome.howard@revvaviation.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to this expansion, Revv Aviation offers a full\nsuite of aviation services at its Midwest FBO hubs, including Council Bluffs,\nSioux City, Davenport and Muscatine, Iowa; Janesville, Wis.; and Aurora and\nSchaumburg, Ill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have experienced great success with our flight school in\nCouncil Bluffs and see tremendous potential to expand pilot training to all\ncurrent and want-to-be aviators in the Omaha Metropolitan Area,\u201d said Guy\nLieser, Revv Aviation CEO. \u201cOur pilot training is a signature phase of service\nofferings we plan to offer at Eppley Airfield. Our goal is to expand flight\ntraining offerings to accommodate the ever-impending demand for pilots, mechanics\nand technicians.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHaving Revv at Eppley will make it a lot more convenient\nfor many of our flight students,\u201d said Scott Vlasek, faculty member at the\nAviation Institute at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. \u201cBesides being\nconvenient, the tower communications at Eppley will fulfill a critical aspect\nof pilot instruction.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Revv Aviation is one of nine companies in the CL Enterprises\nfamily investment portfolio.
