The 69th\nedition of the Experimental Aircraft Association\u2019s fly-in convention is July\n25-31 at Wittman Regional Airport in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8703edit2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22172\" width=\"249\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8703edit2.jpg 500w, https:\/\/stateaviationjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/IMG_8703edit2-300x196.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 249px) 100vw, 249px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cDisplays and aerial performances of current military\naircraft are always among the most popular parts of EAA AirVenture Oshkosh each\nyear, for aviation enthusiasts and the public,\u201d said Rick Larsen, EAA\u2019s vice\npresident of communities and member programs, who coordinates AirVenture\nfeatures and attractions. \u201cThis is just the start, as we expect to list of\nmilitary aircraft to grow as we approach AirVenture\u2019s opening day, especially\nin support of the Air Force\u2019s 75th anniversary in 2022.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current military aircraft listed, from the U.S. Air\nForce and U.S. Army, are those on ground display, with some performing during\nthe daily air shows as well. They include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; C-5 Galaxy<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; C-17\nGlobemaster III<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; F-16\nFighting Falcon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; KC-46\nPegasus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; HH-60 Pavehawk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; AH-64 Apache<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; UH-60\nBlackhawk<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; MH-47\nChinook<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; AH-6 Little\nBird<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c2\u00b7&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; T-38 Talon<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many more military aircraft, for both ground display and\naerial demonstrations, are expected to be added to this list in the coming\nweeks, with announcements coming as confirmations are finalized.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A long list of current military aircraft is among the early commitments to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2022, including many arriving to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force this year.
