Project bids are expected to open to\ncontractors by June 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Richmond County Airport is one North Carolina\u2019s 72 public\nairports that connect people and cargo to global markets. The airport is\nlocated three miles south of the city of Rockingham and west of the city of\nHamlet.
